To show support to our friends at Nike Philippines, I headed to Nike Part The Fort Friday night despite having no sleep only to WITNESS the release of a special Lebron shoe which I first posted HERE. The drive going to the event was pretty smooth with little traffic. I'm glad local officials finally opened the new and wider Katipunan road right outside MWSS HQ.
I arrived early and went up to the second floor. I waited there while I stalked the crowd. Got to chat with fellow NT'er jeddahblaster about random stuff before the draw started. Also saw a bunch of familiar faces.
Since there were only 6 pairs, the entire raffle took less than 4 minutes and I caught every second of it on tape. Scroll down for the vid. Hopefully, this will quell rumors that these draws are rigged.
Tell you the truth, even though only around 50 people showed up, I enjoyed it more than the McFly release. No drama, no big crowd and not that many broken hearts. Ha ha.
The only thing I hated was the heavy traffic from The Fort going to Quezon City via C5. Took me 1.5 hours to get to my office. 1.5 hours. Only 5 or so miles. SMH
