Payday weekend is always fun except for the heavy traffic. Sam, Ryan and I met up with Miko at Ristras for an early dinner. Miko and I stayed to kill some time as there was nothing else to do on a Friday night. Mark followed after his meeting and got to sample Ristra's new item which will be added on the menu soon. Good looking out Philip!

What I ordered. Chicken and steak fajita.

Our friends from Iglesia ni Cristo celebrated their 95th anniversary today and they had a huge gathering at Araneta Coliseum and Rizal Stadium. Thank God (not theirs) they didn't congregate at Central. Last time they did (75th anniversary), traffic stood still the whole day along Commonwealth Ave. I didn't even get to go to school. The bus had to turn around and bring us home after getting stuck in heavy traffic for four hours.

Some of you are probably waiting for me to bust out some Iglesia ni Cristo jokes. Sorry to disappoint you folks. I have some good friends who are Iglesias and I don't want to offend them.

One question though. What is up with the flag?

I finally got my last pay cheque from my previous work after two and a half months of waiting. It's not even half of what I expected but it will do. I'm just glad I got something because I didn't serve the 30 day notice of resignation.

This will pay for 2 out of my 14 days in SF.
