It's always appreciated when local businesses go the extra mile in making their communities become better, even when they really don't have to. Just take a look at what Darkalinos/H.O.M.E.T.E.A.M. have been doing all year long, capping the beautiful Seattle summer with a free live performance last night by Tuxedo!!!

Visited Vancouver 3 times the last 16 months and out of all the restaurants that ze wife and I went to, The Lunch Lady gotta be the best one, hands down. Each dish was phenomenal and the service was top-notch (shout out to Nick!). Got comped a dessert for my birthday, and it was oh so yummy. Thank you! We can't wait to go back!
I thought last year's Skate to the Plate crossover between the Seattle Mariners and 35th North was the coolest thing ever until my San Francisco Giants did THIS (shout out to Jason for the sick photos!!!!) back in May. Nevertheless, another Skate to the Plate for this season is just as appreciated. How many ballparks got a half pipe ramp inside where skaters get to showcase their talents, even for just a day?!
Not the best location to watch the annual Seafair but you can't go wrong with the Seattle skyline. Also, not the best telephoto lens (XC50-230) to snap photos with since the images come out soft and not as sharp when zoomed all the way in. I promise to rent a better and longer lens for next year's event! For now, allow me to flood your screen with a bunch of photos from today. Enjoy!

It's the first day of Seattle World's Vintage Fair at the Seattle Center! Hyped to see what the vendors have to offer. Since the doors didn't open until 5pm, ze wife and I killed some time by snapping some photos around the venue. Team Fujifilm represent!

It's been a tiring but fun weekend and there's one more thing on the agenda... It's the Capitol Hill Block Party!!! One of the few annual events in Seattle that I always look forward too even though I never know most of the artists in the line-up, lol.

Back here where thousands of stories are to be told with so many cats I wanna hold. It's Twice Sold Tales!

Ze wife wanted to check out one of Greenwood's newest additions in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood. It's called Sophon, a family-owned Cambodian restaurant. Greenwood Ave N got a bunch of really good spots along the whole stretch so I was sorta hyped to try this one. You can read my review HERE or you can check it out after the jump.

Wanting to see more of the northern lights and since it was part of last night's forecast, ze wife and I drove down to the Seattle Ferry Terminal and hopped on the 8:45pm ferry to Bainbridge Island. The plan was to watch and enjoy the "lightshow" when we catch one of the last ferry rides back to the city.

Guess who was up until 6:30 this morning sorting and deleting HUNDREDS of sucky photos from last night's northern lights? This after a tiring night with ze wife as we joined hundreds of people at Mukilteo Beach in staring at the skies for hours. Still, it was such a fun and memorable (once in a lifetime?) event!
Did you know that the largest tulip festival in the USA is only 1 hour north of Seattle?
Welcome to RoozenGaarde, where all your tulip fantasies come alive!

UGH, I really thought this movie was gonna blow me away. It didn't suck but it just wasn't what I expected after seeing the trailer a few times. Check it out if you have an unlimited movie pass but it's not worth the standard admission fee, IMHO. Really good terrifying scene with Jesse Plemons, though!

Found myself frolicking once again around the University of Washington for the third time in 10 days. I went to the CHL building for an appointment and thought it would be nice to pass through the quad to snap photos of the cherry blossoms before all the trees lose their flowers.

I guess I'm back after years of not updating my blog? LOL. I'll try my best to fill the backlog from here on out.
SNKRS hit yesterday, delivered today. Delivery time used to take at least a week but after I hit on the draw, I was asked to answer a quick survey and one of the things that I complained about was the slow method of delivery. Within hours, I received a FedEx notification for an Overnight Priority package. I guess Nike does listen.
