Yesterday was supposed to be the longest day of the year according to PAGASA but with a storm hitting the Metro Manila area, it looked more like a scene from The Day After Tomorrow. I've never seen such crazy cloud formation.

Kobe III MVP release was a success even though the weather was horrible. For some reason, before yesterday, nobody had solid info about the shoe, not even people from Nike HQ.

Much props to Nike Philippines, Nike Park, Niketalkers and all those who made it to the event. The local NT family is growing. Nice meeting some new members yesterday. Your support is very much appreciated.

One of the maids gets up at 2:30am every night. I asked her last week why she gets up so early when she can wake up 3 hours later and still have enough time to prepare breakfast for us. Whenever I talk to her it's either she doesn't understand what I tell her or she totally ignores me. I'd know when she's cleaning the house because I can always hear things banging on the floor or on the shelves.

Yesterday, I heard a loud thud downstairs. I went down to check and saw her on the floor while the other maids giggled. She fell when the plastic stool she was standing on broke in half.

She looks like an MMA fighter minus the cauliflower ears. I seriously think she's a serial killer.

She scares the shit out of me.

10 random wishes of a non-existent father for other people

- I wish that you will never be separated from your kids against your will. Never get thrown out of your house upon the order of a judge whose only basis for his/her decision were lies somebody put on paper. If ever you do get separated from your children, I hope it's not as serious as having the law work against you to a certain extent that you can't even send smoke signals to your children for fear that it'll be used against you in the future even if the intent was pure.

- I wish that your children will forever remember you. It would suck so much if some of them don't even recognize who you are if ever you see them again.

- I wish that you will never have to defend yourself from judgmental and immature people who again, based their conclusion on lies.

- I wish that you will never lose everything that you worked hard for.

- I wish that you will never hit rock bottom. Twice. In one year.

- I wish that you seriously don't think that you can have your cake and eat it too.

- I wish that you will never have to live and be sandwiched between a bipolar person and a dying elderly.

My sister has an old ThinkPad with no WIFI connection and her only line to the Internet is a long RJ45 cable which runs from a router in my room to her notebook in the next room.

A little after lunch, it started pouring hard. I was in my room when a lightning struck right outside my window. Moments later, my sister came out of her room and asked if I smell something burning and complained that her Internet is down.

Her notebook was zapped by the lightning and it killed her LAN. I told her to buy a WIFI USB adapter. When I checked her notebook, I saw that her LAN, lone USB port and modem are all on the same dead card.

She's about to cry.

And I needed a good laugh.

Ha ha.

This track was released in 1994 as part of the soundtrack for Above the Rim and quickly became a personal favorite. Before the MP3 era, I could only listen to the song with a cassette player because it was only released as a bonus track on cassette form and wasn't included in the compact disc version.

There's no official music video but for those of you who haven't heard the song, play the clip below and enjoy the BEST DAMN TRACK EVER.
