I broke out a fresh pair of sneakers to welcome 2009. Then I used the same pair for the next several days which is a big no-no to most sneakerheads. A bunch of people asked what I had on my feet because from afar, they couldn't tell what they were but they said they looked good.
The answer?

You can never go wrong with a classic purrr.
My uncle from Hayward, tito Ding, is a big supporter of the OG colorway. I swear I've never seen him in another pair other than his Stan Smiths. I asked my cousin Skipp and he said that his dad has been rocking them since forever and always buys a new pair when necessary. Living in a million dollar home and sticking to the same style of sneakers for decades.
Now that's gangsta.
