I bumped into Sole Academy's Carlo Trillo at the 7107 International Music Festival last month and midway through our brief convo he whipped his phone out to show me a few adidas Originals kicks that SA was going to drop soon. Fast-forward to a few days ago, I received an email from adidas Philippines inviting me to the release of the ZX 5000 RSPN (Response) at Sole Academy.
Not to be mistaken for a take down model of the original ZX 5000, adidas Originals did these right with a fresh update utilizing mesh (always a plus for runners) and suede uppers plus a sockliner that'll make every step comfortable.
I am not usually a fan of changes on classic sneaks but I am totally sold on this one. Grab the dark colorway for some night running or the South Beach-esque colorway to stunt on hot summer days. Can't decide on which to get? Cop both!
