Shout out to Niketown Seattle's big boss lady for selling ze wifey a size 6 even though her staff told us 1 hour before opening that the smallest was 6.5. First time I lined up for FCFS sneakers since the LeBron Air Zoom Generation First Game in 2003! #NT

She's been wanting the OG Griffeys since she was little so she's super happy to finally land a pair. We stayed up drinking in our hotel room until past 3 am and totally forgot about today's drop. She woke up and everything was sold out online in her size.

She was super bummed out about it and I couldn't do anything to help her find a pair online because my dumb ass forgot my phone in the car when we failed to get out of the garage because of the thick snow and ended up ubering it to our hotel.

Then between scratching my balls and sniffing my fingers while enjoying the hotel's nice bathrobe, I realized that Niketown was just around the corner. I told Anikka to get ready so we could go to the store and try our luck. She gave me the weirdest look.

So I told her, "You do know people still go to stores to buy shoes on release dates, yeah?" She was skeptical at first but we got out of the hotel quickly and walked over to Niketown Seattle where we saw 3 dudes in line.

One of them had Aqua 8s on so I asked if they were in line for the Griffeys and they all said yes. A sales associate came out and told us the Carmine 6 was delayed again and only the Griffeys will be sold . I asked what the smallest size was and she said 6.5.

Waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes for a pair of shoes out in the cold is no joke. What made it worse was some dude who called the big boss lady a bitch because she asked him to mask up while in line. He was kicked out from the line and was told he was not welcome in the store.

Dude got so upset that he kept berating the big boss lady. Like bro, how are you gonna have Gore-Tex Air Force 1s on to protect your feet from the snow/rain but refuse to wear a mask 1 year into this pandemic? 😬

Funniest shit about it is that he came back, asked if he could take his old spot, was on the phone with what sounded like customer service, and still didn't get to go in the store. Guess who was at the door greeting customers? Yup, the big boss lady. 😂
